

I'm guessing that communication with that sensor is faulty? I notice that the magnet isn't as close to the sensor as it could be. The zone number flashes but then it doesn't activate bypassing. I tried bypassing that zone but it doesn't work.

The problem seems to be related to the wireless front door sensor. I have recently changed the main 12V alarm battery, so that's not likely to be at fault. The trouble light comes on but there is no code to indicate the cause. The main alarm does not sound, but the keycode has to be entered to switch off the 'armed' sound. The 'armed' buzzing noise goes off at random, often in the middle of the night, and it's very loud. I have a British Gas burglar alarm system which is a rebranded DSC alarm.
